Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the decluttering process typically take?

The duration of the decluttering process varies depending on the size and complexity of the project (are there sentimental or emotional attachments to things?). I work with you room by room at your pace with bags labeled 'Donations' and 'Trash'. 

What sets your home decluttering business apart from others?

I am not an organizing or cleaning business. I specialize in helping you declutter, downsize, and streamline your home living spaces. I will also take the donation bags of unneeded and unwanted household items and clothing we gather up to a site, so you don't have to. I am dedicated and focused on freeing up space, by eliminating unnecessary items, not purchasing more storage systems and organizers, so that what you have in your home is needed, useful, makes you happy, and has its own place.

What is and isn't included in the session(s)?

  • Clients supply the garbage bags, I label them and help you declutter and downsize.
  • I bring the bags of 'donations' we gather to a site, clients toss the bags of 'trash'. I help my clients put away their 'keep' items into the right rooms in their homes.
  • I don't give advice/suggestions to purchase additional organizers or shelving, etc.
  • My session(s) don't include house cleaning, as in vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing or washing dishes. 
  • When we come to the end of an hour session, my clients may decide if they'd like an additional hour (or more) of my service, or if they'd like me to return another day. It's all up to the clients' needs.

Cost of services?

$50.00 for the first hour, $40.00/hour after that.

The cost includes my decluttering and organizing service, as well as bringing the donation bag(s) to a drop-off site.

Pay at time of service using Venmo, Zelle, cash or check.

Work days and times?

Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm, excluding holidays, contact me for an appointment time.

What would or wouldn't be included in the donations I drop off?

Household items, decor, clothing, shoes, dvd's, books, small appliances, toys, sheets/pillowcases and kitchen stuff are included.

Furniture including beds, chairs, car seats, and baby gates aren't included.

If you need help posting an item(s) to sell on your FB Marketplace, I can also do that; ie. using photos, and description.
